The Challenge

The Chief Innovation Officer of a large, European bank wanted to develop a set of core innovation and experimentation capabilities that could be practiced across the entire enterprise. Ultimately, the goal was to reinvent the way the organization solves problems and invests in innovative projects.

The Approach

Our team designed a custom operating model and innovation brand that would provide an end-to-end strategy for the global leadership team to follow. Additionally, we designed a comprehensive set of capabilities, which we are now beginning to launch across test markets and teams around the world.

The Outcome

The newly developed innovation team has since won the trust and investment of the Chief Operating Officer, and has established itself as a recognized internal brand. They are regularly invited to run workshops and train various teams, while progressing towards a steady-state for their innovation program.
